Apart from the robot line and along with Oeco Power, the Technical Revolutions box is the most exciting box I've seen for a while from fischertechnik. It reminds me of the EC and EM boxes I used to play with 35 years ago.
This box covers a wide range of technical fields and offers an impressive number of 12 different models.
Pros •Very didactic • Excellent booklets, one for building instructions, the other for technical reference
Cons • Some small parts • Problem with the perpetual mobile
Wrap-up • Highly recommended set • “Play and learn” approach • Parents and kids could play together
Check my review!

Bonsoir,
I had the same question when the Robo TX controller appeared.
After much thinking, I went for the Robo TX Training Lab:
• the cost difference is an extra 100 EUR (300 EUR instead of 200 EUR), but • you get two encoder-motors and one mini-motor • the encoder-motor is the real novelty of the Robo TX • other components include lamps, photo-transistor, switches, path-seeker • standard bricks are always welcomed

Bonsoir,
Try and change the parameters Procedure Minimum Number (here, 5) and Supplementary Procedures (here, 0) on the Properties tab shown below:

It may help!

@vleeuwen
Thank you for the explanations

Bonjour,
Actually, the direction of the motor (clockwise, counter-clockwise) is already known since it is managed by the TXC.
So incrementing the counter if the motor runs clockwise and decrementing the counter if the motor runs counter-clockwise could be performed by software.

Bonjour,
Former Intelligent Interface with LLWin software used to offer such a feature, incrementing or decrementing the counter based on the motor direction.
The new encoder-motor offers greater precision with its built-in and fast encoder. However, one-way counting featured by TXC is difficult to manage and prone to drift.
Reference (link): Error 09b: Trying Robo Pro 2.1.4.0 and Robo TX 1.18.02 Firmware
So I strongly back vleeuwen's demand for
Quote:a (software) black box that make the use of this encoder in relation with the fast counters possible. just as LLWin did.
Thank you and best regards,

Bonjour,
Please find the bluetooth user manual here in German in English and the list of compatible devices.

Bonsoir,
Does the C-compiler include the Bluetooth radio communication libraries?

Bonjour Endlich,
Based on the details you provide, there are two options:
• hardware problem, • software problem.
I suggest you to check first the hardware and O5, O6, O7 and O8 ouputs.
Prepare a basic program with only commands on and off for those ports and run it. Or run the interface test.
Then check whether TXC is responding correctly.
Does it work?
I case it works, hardware is fine. Now, consider the software.
Have now a close look at your project and check
• if 05 and 06 are confused with M3 • if 07 and 08 are confused with M4
It happened to me a lot of times.
I hope this could help you.
Best regards,

Bonjour,
Please find two updates:
• using railway wheels with rubber band, as suggested by Richard aka. rbudding

• refining the moving axis
