More than 60 exhibitors presented their most creative, elaborate and complex fischertechnik models at the huge fan model show in Tumlingen: A friendly, neighborly mood quickly spread among the exhibitors, which resulted in lively exchanges and friendly help and advice between the exhibitors and fans. In addition, a fischertechnik band, a giant crane, a zeppelin and many other great models added to the festive atmosphere and general excitement.
Anyone who wanted to learn more about about fischertechnik was able to find out more on the spot: Many fans gladly accepted the offer from fischertechnik experts for training on various topics. Training session topics included Industry 4.0, micro:bit, calliope and scratch, and programming for beginners and advanced users.
A shuttle bus transferred fans to Salzstetten so that they could enjoy additional highlights: Upon arrival, visitors encountered sweet alpacas—that looked like those included in the fischerTiP Alpaca bucket—grazing peacefully on the lawn in front of the company building. Many visitors also stocked up on fischertechnik and fischerTiP products, which were on sale at low prices. In addition, many fans got to see how the fischertechnik construction kits are created: In production, assembly lines were set up where our colleagues equipped the construction kits for the show. Fans were also able to participate in equipping fischertechnik and fischerTiP construction kits in dedicated lines.
Upstairs, the entire range of products was on display along with all their innovative features, which exhibitors gladly explained and fans could extensively test. Many of the visitors liked our new products in particular, such as the ADVANCED Funny Machines construction kit, the PROFI Hydraulic and Learning Factory 4.0.
Another must for every family was our excavator: Children queued up to play a game of skill with a real excavator based on our newest innovation, the PROFI Hydraulic construction kit.
By evening, everyone had had an eventful day and all the fans were already looking forward to Fan Club Day next year!
