Fan projects

We at fischertechnik are delighted every time we read or hear about the many fischertechnik constructors from very different age groups and countries. Many passionate model builders are also professionally involved with technical constructions and make use of the possibilities offered by fischertechnik. But many other model builders have also been infected with the fischertechnik fever and design and build great models in their spare time. They are all united by their passion for constructing!  

We want to show these creative and impressive models here and whet your appetite to build such an impressive model yourself one day.

From micro-projects to mega-projects: The many possible applications of fischertechnik are limitless.

  • World record at the Fan Club Day 2016

    World record in Waldachtal: A cable-stayed bridge over 45 meters long built with fischertechnik building blocks was the highlight of the fischertechnik Fan Club Day on July 24.

    At 45.55 meters long, the bridge is the world's largest model ever built with fischertechnik construction blocks. The world record was set at the company's headquarters in Waldachtal. Approximately 1400 visitors from Germany, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, but also from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China admired the fischertechnik structure.

  • Polar Coordinates Plotter

    Final project - Science and Technology - by David

    The Polar Coordinate Plotter was created as a final project in the NwT (Science and Technology) class. The task was to work on a scientific or technical topic and to design an experiment or a model for it.

  • Large marble run

    from Jan Ole 
    Wow, this is a big marble run! It is 80 cm long, 58 cm wide and 1.10 m high!

    Jan Ole has assembled this marble run from the building sets Rolling Action, PROFI Dynamic XS, 2x PROFI Dynamic S, PROFI Dynamic XM, PROFI Dynamic M, 2x PROFI Dynamic, PROFI Dynamic L2, PROFI Dynamic XL, PROFI Dynamic XXL, 2x PROFI Dynamic Tuning Set and PROFI Dynamic Highspeed Tuning Set.... This results in a total track length of 35.60 m - that's really a great performance.

  • Component sorter

    by Veit, Leo, Yannik and Jakob

    Veit, Leo, Yannik and Jakob have developed, built and programmed the so-called component sorter BA(RM)². You are probably wondering, like us, what the name BA(RM)² means. The guys said it was a bit complicated. In the end, it is a mathematical style modified form of the former name of the older model BRM-ARM, which stood for BRM-Aufräummaschine. Therefore, you call the model more simply formulated "fischertechnik-Bauteilesortierer" or "fischertechnik parts sorting machine".
