The Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Minister of State Dorothee Bär are impressed by fischertechnik
fischertechnik factory impressed Angela Merkel at this year’s Girls´ Day
The delight was written all over the face of the Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel. As girls presented her our fischertechnik factory’s simulation facility in the Federal Chancellery as a part of Girls’ Day, the PhD Physicist appeared fascinated.
24 school girls from Berlin had the opportunity to get to know the versatility of the MINT professions (Maths, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) directly in the chancellery at the kick-off of the Girls’ Day. This could be particularly vividly presented through various projects that were exhibited in a technology obstacle course. Our fischertechnik factory was also in focus here. This was presented by a project team of Sopra Steria Consulting. The consulting company is using our factory since a long time for training purposes. Along with this factory, the factory of the future was presented, which greatly interested Angela Merkel.
State Secretary Dorothee Bär visits our fair stand in Hannover
We presented the fischertechnik Learning Factory 4.0 to the public for the first time at the Hannover fair. The most prominent guest on the first day of fair at the stand: Dorothee Bär, Minister of State for Digital Infrastructure in the cabinet of the Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Dorothee Bär had us explain the functionality of the Learning Factory 4.0 in detail. Guido Schubert, Industrial Sales Manager, and Dr Alexander Steiger from the development team at fischertechnik answered all the question on the application and building. The CSU politician hinted during her visit that she already well versed with fischertechnik. Dorothee Bär appeared to be fascinated by the fischertechnik Learning Factory 4.0 also. Especially the simple and understandable functioning made an impression on the 40-year-old, who still found enough time for a group photo after the explanations of our fischertechnik experts.
