fischertechnik is overall and category winner at the German Toy Award 2022

Toy manufacturer fischertechnik is the overall winner and double category winner at the German Toy Award 2022. The Early Coding programming construction kit and the Junior Engineer construction kit won over the public voting and the jury. The great success of the toy manufacturer "Made in Germany" in this prestigious award once again shows the importance of sustainable and educationally valuable construction kits in today's world.
With two winning construction sets, fischertechnik is particularly well represented at the German Toy Award this year. Once again, the toy manufacturer is tackling forward-looking topics that lay the foundation for future skilled workers: The Early Coding construction kit is the overall winner and also holds first place in the "Play and Technology" category. Simple robot programming is possible with the child-friendly construction kit. The fun fantasy robots are easy to assemble - and almost easier to program and control. The child-friendly graphical programming interface ensures a quick sense of achievement: If you string the commands together, the robot moves in the programmed direction.
A total of three different models can be built with fischertechnik Early Coding. The construction kit contains everything that fully functional driving robots need: Building blocks for assembly, a complete chassis with two motors, a controller with Bluetooth interface, two infrared sensors for lane detection, two buttons for obstacle detection and a battery compartment. Complex wiring is not necessary. Early Coding is suitable for children ages 5 and up and offers a fun introduction to the world of computer science.

In the category "For the youngest", the fischertechnik Junior Engineer construction kit convinced the jury of the German Toy Award. It offers fun with twelve easy-to-construct models such as a solar helicopter, a moon vehicle or a solar boat. Young tinkerers gain insights into technology topics and regenerative energy use with the comprehensive set, which includes child-friendly building instructions. In addition to the usual building blocks for constructing models, Junior Engineer also contains a solar rotor, a pneumatic cylinder and the fischertechNIK manikin.
